I'm The One
I collaborated with London based music producer Majed to design the cover art for his first single upon his return from a brief hiatus. With plans to refresh his brand for a new era of music, Majed wanted an arc to become synonymous with his identity and the centrepiece for the artwork of all future releases.
Goals
- Set the precedent of a visual style going forward.
- Encorporate an arc as the main element of the artwork.

- Maintaining regular communication when working remotely.
- Narrowing down a visual style that was strong enough to continue on future releases.

Ideation
The process started by building a mood board with Majed to decide on a visual direction. Once I had this I began exploring ideas through sketching while using the lyrics of the song as inspiration.
Creation
A mix of photo manipulation and digital illustration, the artwork was built over many iterative steps in which I consistently communicated with Majed to get feedback on the progress
Album Art
Heavily inspired by the streets of Shoreditch in London, the artwork conveys a sense of mystery and isolation in a colourful, sci-fi setting.
